Music: Justice – Micah 6:8

I am who I am from Fourthstream on Vimeo.

True justice is an interesting proposition. Search the world’s data and you will find perspectives too many to count about what real justice is. Justice is truly in the eye of the beholder.

But as we search God’s Word we find specific guidance which not only defines justice – but places it where it belongs – in the hands of God.

First – we we all made from one.

“and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’  – Acts 17:26-28

Also, as I wrote about on page 138 of Mentored by God, true justice will be accompanied by kindness and humility.

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you – but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”  – Micah 6:8

Added to this, we apparently can count on God to make everything just – even if we have to wait in hope as we endure much injustice.

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”  – Revelation 22:12-13

So my prescription for what is just involves evaluation of what I observe based upon the levels and relationship of justice, kindness, and humility of any given situation or person(s). It brings me clarity and contributes to my own satisfied mind.

Peace be upon your heart and home, my friend.
