Every religion is secondary to the Kingship of Christ. All of them. Including historic christianity. The Kingdom is personal. It is comprehensive. It is complete. Kingdom spirituality is authentic – not based upon religious pursuit or perfection, but rather, genuine connection.

Jesus said many startling things, such as, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36) as well as “Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.” (Luke 17:33)

Finding our true selves is reflected in the life philosophy of Jesus. He took the time to understand His Father’s trajectory for His life, and He sacrificed everything to bring it about in His own journey. This is how any man or woman can find ourselves – by losing ourselves in God.

If we are to go deeply and find a satisfied mind, we must investigate and experience King first – then kingdom – then church. Religion can provide some help, but our relational connection with God is key. And anything we invest in this connection results in something that will never end. We store up relational treasure which precedes us into His Kingdom at the end of time. He is simply the King over everything.

I AM THE THE DOOR
Jesus made it clear that He was the door to God. There is no other way.

YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH
He also taught that when we know Him we are salt in our world and to the people around us. There is a preservation nature to this, in addition to the flavoring aspects of salt.

YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
Jesus is Light, so our contact and connection with Him makes us sons and daughters who carry His light to the world around us (John 12:36).

This is how any serious-hearted man or woman may find our true selves: resulting in a satisfied mind!
