STREAMSBOOK DAY 17: CHAINS IN LIFE AND DEATH
Belief is so simple it is complicated. One rarely pursues faith when we are comfortable in our self-reliance. Spiritual insanity flourishes when pride carries the day. This is why it is “hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom.” If I think I am free, I will never look for freedom. And my chains of life will ensure my chains in death. Ironic.
STREAMBOOK DAY 18: DEBT AND DEBTORS
Wow. This is probably one of the most striking teaching situations Jesus uses to expose the core of what it means to find God. If a person can find him or herself in THIS story, we are not far from the Kingdom of Heaven!
