The church is mentioned only a few times in the gospels. The Kingdom is spoken of many times. Familiarity with our King is completely tied to His Kingdom. When Jesus has first place in our lives we find ourselves.
Christ is King over all that is made. He will come to have first place in everything. To honor His Kingship over our lives is to find friendship with God.
