GOD IS INVOLVED
It would make sense if God were going to show up in human form on the earth He would have relational considerations: friendships, good things, loss suffered, challenges, and practical daily needs. This passage reveals some of those interactions and challenges, and certainly “takes the halo” off history’s artwork.
