WORTHLESS WOMAN – CONFLICT WITH THE KING
Of all of the accounts of Jesus’ encounters with everyday people, I have learned to identify with this one the most. It is readily apparent that the Jewish leaders were much too proud to see themselves in the worthless woman, and consequently they missed the keys to the Kingdom. Each of these “stories” is assembled so that each man or woman can either look into the mirror and see our need, or walk away holding to our distortions about ourselves and about life.
