Jesus’ stories (parables) were taught in order to demonstrate a message. By developing an idea through story, He gave His listeners opportunity to connect with spiritual truth. The best way to connect with parables is to take the role of one of the characters in it, and try to get in touch with the feelings, sounds, sights, and smells – to jump right into the story!
