My Declarations

Each of us has our own worldview. This includes our belief system, our view of ourselves, and our conclusions and operating principles regarding people.

Within this we each come to our own core beliefs which guide us. These beliefs lead us to our own operating systems regarding our Creator Father, and results in what we declare to ourselves to be true about who we are and who God is. Considering our own declarations can solidify who we are and where we are headed.

Some declarations we have concluded about God Himself:
√    God is three but is also One (Genesis 1:26/Deuteronomy 6:4).
√    God is clearly seen through what has been created (Romans 1:20)
√    He is clearly revealed Himself in His Son (Hebrews 1:1,2)
√    Our Father is slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness, and has our best interests at heart (Psalm 86:15; 103:8).
√    God has revealed His heart through His ten commandments
√    His glory is His own (Isaiah 42:8) and it is our privilege to included in it.
√    Jesus opens our friendship with God through His sacrifice (John 15:15).
√    To know God, we must come through the door. Jesus is the door (John 10:7,9).
√    We are safe hoping in His goodness (Hebrews 6:19)
√    Our forever is His forever (Psalm 16)

√    Even though He takes my life, I will love Him (Job 13:15)
√    Goodness follows His chosen ones (Psalm 23:6)
√    Even though He disciplines me, I can trust Him (Psalm 30:5/Hebrews 12:10)
√    When He reigns over all I will reign with Him (2 Timothy 2:12/Ephesians 1:22)
√    He will give us a new name and a forever future (Revelation 2:17)
√    Living His way is worth it: it has great reward (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
What would you add to this list?

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night…For You, O Lord, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands. How great are Your works, O Lord!  Your thoughts are very deep.”  – Psalms 92:1-2, 4-5

These are great and true things to declare – and this is a great place to live!
