Much of what Jesus taught us about the Kingdom focused on the WHO every bit as much as the WHAT. Because He is the King of the earth (Revelation 22) and we know Him, we experience a completely different connection than before we embraced Christ as our King.
Jesus continues to explain the keys to the Kingdom. We of course will be granted access to His Kingdom in the future, but we also are allowed into this Kingdom during this life. “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)
When we find God in Jesus our hearts are made new – they are purified in a supernatural way. A pure Kingdom heart allows us to know God, which in turn allows us to do true kindness to those around us. This results in growing life. The circle of the Kingdom is found here: Pure heart, know God, do kindness, grow life. This is God in us – and this is what makes the Kingdom alive inside of us – forever!
“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
“And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:16)
