God IS family. He is our eternal Father. His Son has been with Him forever. The Holy Spirit has always been the breath – the moving hand of God (Genesis 1:1). Lady Wisdom has stood with Him since the foundations of the world (Proverbs 1:20-23).
When we believe in Jesus we are brought into God’s family. We then extend this same opportunity to those to whom we engage in the Story. God’s family is not limited by socio-economic status, race, apparent good works, or blood-lines. We all come to Jesus the same way: no righteousness of our own/totally reliant upon His grace alone.

The home is God’s design for His family principles to come alive. Marriage and family are a huge amount of work, but offer the keys to entrance into the Kingdom when we live our home- lives in light of eternity.

You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.”
