We are sure many questions have come up in your Strong Home workshop conversations. Sometimes the deeper we go the more questions surface. But this is part of what makes the learning about marriage and family a journey rather than information to be mastered. If you could learn everything you needed to know about a strong home through education and media, then we would not be in the precarious place we find ourselves in today.
As I mentioned before, it is not up to the state or schools or some iteration of a village to raise our children. It is up to us. But not for us alone. WE NEED GOD to succeed. You are living in a culture who by and large rejects this.
To succeed in building a strong home it takes courage, intentionality, authentic community, and consultation with the King of the universe. Good News. He is available to any parent or parents who call out to Him. This doesn’t necessarily make our marriage and family challenges go away. It amplifies our relationship with the One Who made family. Who IS family.
