Olive Tree 6Jesus on the Mount of Olives right before His crucifixion: Matthew 24-25

I love Matthew 24 and 25 for the flowing ease with which Jesus addresses how this age will end.

DEATH OR RESURRECTION – this age is winding down!

“And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. And you will be hearing about wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened, for these things must take place, but this is not yet the end.” – from Matthew 23

Whenever you want to encounter uncluttered teaching about God and man – go to the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) to find your strong home base. The rest of scripture flows in and around the declarations of the Son of God, in my humbled opinion.

Because the subject of the consummation of time is so sweeping, I was thinking a summary of Jesus’ Mount of Olives teaching right next to a chapter outline of Revelation might be helpful. Perhaps this whole concept is new for you – or perhaps you need a refresher (there is so much to learn and know).

Click here Revelation for a link to this Matthew 25/Revelation one sheet (last page) and a complete reading guide to the book of Revelation.

(I cover this encouraging teaching in Days 31 and 32 in the Streamsbook course).

Looking forward to this treasure hunt with you 🙂
