Do you ever think deeply about your personal core? Who are you? What do you stand for? What are the foundations by which you live your life?
If you were building a house with pillars to stand against the storms of life: faith – hope – and love reign strong and help build a life that lasts. Jesus Himself took great care to challenge His disciples (and us) about how faith, hope, and love fill the heart – and how each is meant to fill our worlds!
While the God Story is filled with woven considerations of the great themes of life, there are watershed moments where great heart understanding presents itself. God’s conversations about the three heart-pillars of meaning: faith, hope, and love – energize us toward a satisfied mind.
Because of familiarity it can be easy to miss the gravity of each of these qualities in our Kingdom faith. Today Dave and Burnadette look at three incredibly moving passages of Scripture:
Experiencing a Victorious Faith: Hebrews 11
Being energized by the conviction of Hope: 2 Peter 1
Living out Unfailing Love: 1 Corinthians 13
Nearly all of the Letters of the apostles specifically celebrate the power of the presence of Faith – Hope – and Love.
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval.” – Hebrews 11:1,2
