Here are a couple of really helpful targets for our interior lives.
Being prudent adds deeper aspects to being a measured person. This includes the wisdom behind how a person responds when things are volatile. This includes large doses of common sense.
Not addicted to much wine informs us concerning all addictions, and gives us parameters for managing everything from the obvious to the nuanced. Our character is unimpeded in growth when we carefully and prudently manage the things which can harm or even enslave us.
These two qualities have helped keep us within life-giving boundaries.
Good for our souls.
