There are 5 major building blocks for forming a strong family. None are easy – all require intentionality. Discipline and instruction are deeply linked for the success of launching kids into adulthood. Creating memories is a part of the rich heritage we can provide for our kids to give them experiences which will help them succeed in their own adult and family lives.
Teaching the values of industry and hard work are huge to the maturing process needed to excel. And understand their individuality and value before their Creator is a great gift only parents can give.
Over the next three posts we will launch conversations which you can shape into intentional strategies for where you currently find yourselves in your journey process.
“Train up a child in the way he should go and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it;
Unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, the fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed
When they speak with their enemies in the gate.” – Psalm 127
