I fear for the American heart. Our leaders appear to have been seduced by obsession for recognition, personal greed, political correctness, and dangerous arrogance. These are all things I understand all too well, and I certainly don’t name them flippantly. The point, actually, is that we need to be awakened spiritually. And this will necessitate a “turning away” from one thing to another. Recovery of the free American heart and dream will only come through spiritual awakening. What is your experience with Americana, and what do you think it will take to right the ship? What are the things you ask God for?
I am a creature of my times – but I don’t need to be ruled by them!
